How to style a silk scarf in summer.

5 ways to wear it according to your style

A silk scarf can accompany you to dinner, become part of your city look, travel with you to the beach, or follow you to the countryside. It can transform a simple shirt, tie back your hair on a hot day, or become, for a moment, an extra piece of clothing.

That’s exactly why I love it: because there isn’t just one way to wear it.

These five images reflect five very different ways to bring your silk scarf to life this summer.

01 · When the night calls for silk

A large scarf knotted in front, transformed into a top, completely changes the attitude of a look.

With flowing linen trousers, a special skirt, or evening sandals, silk adds that unexpected touch that makes a simple outfit feel different.

You don’t need much more. A scarf, a knot, and you’re ready to go.

02 · Just another morning in a Mediterranean city

There is something especially beautiful about wearing a scarf in your hair while strolling through a city in summer.

A naturally knotted bandana, sunglasses, a light shirt, and your hair tied back. Perhaps you are in a white street in Greece, entering a small shop, or looking for a table in the shade.

The scarf adds color and that small stylistic gesture that makes any ordinary day feel a little more special.

03 · From scarf to beach

Large scarves can also stop being just an accessory.

Knotted as a top and paired with a bikini bottom, a silk scarf becomes one of those improvised pieces that end up being summer favorites.

To head to the beach, have a drink afterward, or simply sit by the sea. Silk moves with the body and the wind, and every movement makes the print change.

04 · A slow summer

In the countryside, the scarf takes on a different character.

A green scarf, worn pointed over the head and simply knotted, perfectly complements a cotton shirt, comfortable trousers, and unhurried hours.

There is something very natural about this way of wearing it. Less calculated, more spontaneous. Like those summers where the day starts early, the air is still fresh, and there is no need to look at the clock.

05 · Barefoot by the sea

And then there’s the beach.

A large scarf turned into a sarong, knotted in a triangle over the body, is perhaps one of the simplest ways to wear silk in summer.

A lightweight piece you can put on and take off, that fits in any bag and, at the end of the day, still holds some of the light, movement, and colors of the place.

Because perhaps that is one of the things I like most about scarves: they don’t come with instructions.

Everyone finds their own way. Every summer, their own.

Which of these looks do you identify with most this summer?
